WinOrganizer is a personal information manager (PIM) program. It helps you manage your data, contacts, and schedules. The rich-text format lets you save information with different fonts, pictures and internet pages (HTML).
The program is available in many languages.
The following review written by one of the Software Informer contributors applies to version 4.1
WinOrganizer is an advanced tool to manage notes, tasks, events, contacts and passwords quickly and easily. The program interface is similar to the classic program "Windows Explorer". Therefore you will be able to handle all its functions without any problem.
The program is designed to be used as an advanced personal organizer. From its main window you will be able to perform some of the following actions: Use the program as a handy notebook, write recipes, copy websites, insert images, attach files, etc. That is, the program has all the basic functions to organize your information.
In addition, you can add events and set alarms for them. An interesting feature is that the alarms have advanced settings. For example, they can be scheduled to be repeated at certain intervals. They can even be set to open documents or run programs.
You can also manage IDs and passwords for websites, programs, etc. You can even add comments and set alarms for them too.
Additionally, you can use a perfectly organized address book. Something that impressed me personally is that for each contact there are many fields to fill, so you can have the complete information on each of them.
Finally, the general change featured in this new version (4.1) is the support for Windows Vista and Windows 7. Also, the icons of the interface have been updated and improved, and other minor improvements have been implemented. |
